Our bark mulch is available in black, brown and natural color. Bark mulch puts nutrients back in the soil which benefits plant life. Bark mulch has finer particle consistency than hardwood mulch which allows for a “softer” visual landscape appearance.

Our premium hardwood mulch is available in red and natural (which is the color of the untreated wood). Hardwood mulch is made from lumber that is chipped and it does not contain bark.

The dye that is used is non-toxic and is safe for plants. A MSDS is available upon request.
How do I determine how much mulch is needed?
Mulch is measured in cubic yards. The recommended depth of mulch is 2-4 inches. To calculate the amount of mulch you need use the formula (in feet) length x width x depth and then divided by 27 to convert to cubic yards. A 30 foot long x 10 wide area at 3 inches of desired depth would be 30 x 10 x .25 (3 inches is 3/12 of a foot) = 75 and to convert to cubic yards divide 75 by 27 = 2.77 so you would want 3 cubic yards.
